The Founding Climb

Our Story

Blue Ridge Health Chiropractic was founded in 2018 by Dr. Robert Maurer, who moved to Greenville with his wife Evelyn and their two kids to build a practice at the foot of the mountains it is named for.

Dr. Maurer is an Ormond Beach, Florida native. He studied at Daytona State College, earned his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport in 2016, then trained in the MaxLiving practice model in Naples, Florida. That model, the 5 Essentials, treats chiropractic, mindset, nutrition, exercise, and detoxification as one connected system instead of five separate fixes.

The name on the door is literal. The office sits in the Blue Ridge foothills at 19 Mohawk Drive, and the badge on our sign, two peaks ringed with Est. 2018, points at the same horizon you can see from the parking lot. Root-cause care that gains ground one waypoint at a time is not a borrowed slogan. It is how Dr. Maurer was trained, and it is how this office has run since the day it opened.

The Ranger Station

Meet Dr. Maurer

Patients call him Dr. Rob. New patients usually arrive the same way: after years of managing around a problem, they want someone who will actually explain what is going on. That is the visit Dr. Maurer runs: a real history, a focused exam, X-rays when they are needed, and findings walked through in plain language before any care begins.

His care plans are built on the 5 Essentials he trained in at MaxLiving, so an adjustment schedule is never the whole answer. Nutrition, movement, mindset, and daily habits all get mapped into the same plan, at your pace.
